(even if you are feeling rejected / undervalued / overwhelmed and/or paralyzed about a job search right now)
I teach professional women all the job search skills they need so they confidently sail through the job search and nail the interview, complete with emotional support from a peer community.
My unique step-by-step process takes you through each part of the job hunt, using methods I developed teaching live in-person outplacement workshops, combined with the best practices of the industry’s experts.
The job search used to be easy. You sent a resume, human resources or a recruiter reviewed it, and if you were a match then you were called for an interview. That has all changed by 2017:
- The stakes are higher now. Companies are spending more than $3,500 per year on average per hire (varies widely by role) and the cost of hiring the wrong person is higher than ever.
- 60% of all companies have some type of ATS. If you don’t know what an ATS is, it’s an “Applicant Tracking System” which is how resumes are sorted today. Electronically via computer that matches resumes against a “desired candidate” profile.
- 60% of human resources managers say they use social media to check out an employee before hiring.
- Most companies no longer even send a confirmation that a resume has been received, and job-seekers send hundreds of resumes “out” and hear nothing back.
